It Happens Every Spring

 America Has Gone Missing, but occasionally events happen which remind some of us, who have been around a while, about what America once was–and what we have lost. America once meant baseball, and baseball once meant America. The game has changed. No longer is it a game for little kids, played by girls and boys of all ages. Now it’s far less of a sport, and more of a business, big business. But even now, it can remind some of us of what baseball really meant, once upon a time. And so this article will be posted every April 1, to remind us, and to let others know what we know.

Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 – Speculation

It’s been ten days and counting since the disappearance of Malaysia Airlines Flight 370, with 227 passengers and 12 crew members on board. At the date of this article, the bottom line is there is no sure answer to the question of what occurred on the plane, and where it is.

A Fighter Pilot And Hero Says Goodbye

Yesterday, August 1, 2013, George “Bud” Day flew his last mission. The Medal of Honor recipient and one of the greatest American war heroes was laid to rest at the Barrancas National Cemetery, Pensacola Naval Air Station, Florida. He died at his home on July 27, age 88.

George Zimmerman Trial Ends

The George Zimmerman trial finished this afternoon, Florida time. Starting tomorrow, Thursday afternoon, the prosecution will give its closing remarks. This will take about two hours, followed by the defense closing, about three hours, on Friday morning, and finally another hour by the prosecution.

Obama’s April Fools Day Joke To The Nation

What’s that? It’s not an April Fools joke? You’re kidding. Oh well.

Second Debate – Romney Wins – Why Obama Cannot Disclose Second Term Plans

I’ve waited a couple days before writing this article about last Tuesday’s second presidential debate. Wanted to see what others would say. I knew, of course, the Obama cheerleaders, led by the ever loyal LM (left media), would declare it a huge comeback victory for this schoolyard bully who is not constitutionally eligible to be president — a fact never brought up by Republicans and Conservatives because they are afraid of being called bad names, racist of course, but also spoiled sports for bringing up an ancient, no-longer-relevant document called the U.S. Constitution.

VP Debate — Paul Ryan Versus The Moderator And An Unhinged Buffoon

What can one say about the so-called debate between Paul Ryan and, hate to say it, Vice President Joe Biden, which took place in Danville, Kentucky on Thursday evening, and was seen on television by some 51,000 viewers? Mr. Ridiculous — The Todd Akin Story

Yeah, I know, the guy did graduate from college, but so what. For too many years in our country, going to college has not meant you know how to think straight, or even read and write beyond an eighth grade level. (For evidence, go no further than the not-so-bright schoolyard bully currently illegally residing in The Peoples White House.) Yeah, I know the guy is 65-years-old, and ought to know better, but as the old saying goes, there are more horses' rear ends in the world than horses. GOP 2012 Vice President Candidate — Constitution YES, Hypocrisy NO!

There’s a rumor out there that our  country will have a national election on the first Tuesday after the first Monday next November, November 6, 2012, to be exact. Of course, as the old maxim warns, don’t hold your breath. Perhaps our schoolyard bully will decide  to eliminate elections by executive order, for the good of the country, of course, and legal, according to Attorney General Eric Holder, of course. Since Obama seems to ignore laws and make his own laws as he wishes, with little objection, and none at all from Democrats and the LM (Left Media), anything is possible.
