Fast And Furious AKA Murdergate

Last week, all things "Fast and Furious," moved fast and furious. About time, stonewalling has been going on for well over a year. Of course, the LM (Left Media, meaning almost all media), with the notable exception of CBS News – because of one honest, investigative reporter, Sharyl Attkisson, who has been reporting the facts since February 2011 – have been in their “not curious” mode. That’s their mode when Democrats' children have been naughty. Thus many, probably the majority, of Americans know nothing or next to nothing about Fast and Furious.

What is Fast and Furious (F&F)? Who planned it? Who authorized it? What was the real purpose of F&F? Who was in charge? All simple, straight-forward questions. Second grade level stuff, meaning it ought to be understood by most bureaucrats and politicians in Washington. Simple questions, ought to have simple answers one would think. But noooo.

Thanks to persistent questioning by some members of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, we know more. According to one of the employees of We The People, the Attorney General of the United States, Eric Holder – who claims he knew nothing about F&F, despite the fact it was being directed by his Department of Justice -  the truth about the program is that it is an “evolving truth.” Perhaps Holder has been getting his information from NBC and ABC News, Brian Williams and Diane Sawyer, who only last week discovered F&F.

An evolving truth seems to mean that Holder can lie in sworn testimony before the committee, then change his story the next time he testifies, and change it again the next time, and so on. He commits perjury, recants, changes testimony, the truth just evolves and evolves. Others might call it what it is, obfuscate, obfuscate, complicate, complicate, stonewall and stonewall by a willful child until after the November presidential election.

It has become obvious F&F was a stupid operation, designed, initiated, and run by bungling idiots, emblematic of our Obama administration in action. It seems the everyday hands-on activities were run by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), out of the Phoenix, Arizona office. It’s been reported some of the ATF agents realized the plan was dumb and they protested, to no avail. The ATF reported to the Department of Justice, aka Eric Holder. Did Eric Holder report to one Barack Obama? That’s one of the critical items the Oversight Committee and its chairman, Darrell Issa, want to know.

Holder tried to put the blame on the ATF. ATF employees were moved around, musical chairs plus some promotions, promotions for a job that failed. Of course, Bush was blamed. That didn’t fly, and Holder admitted there was no connection.

F&F was a plan where some 2000 assault weapons, serial numbers recorded, were allowed to be illegally purchased from cooperating Texas gun retailers and then allowed to be walked across the border into Mexico and into the hands of Mexican drug cartels. The weapons were to be tracked as they walked. But the ATF people lost track of the guns.

The big question, why F&F? To what end? What was the motive? First, let’s see what happened as a result of this dumb operation. If the plan was to have these assault weapons show up at drug crime scenes, it worked. The weapons showed up at some 100 bloody scenes in Mexico. Oh, and by the way, at 12 crime scenes in the United States. Yes, the Mexican drug cartels who had these guns provided them by the Obama administration, did in fact use them to kill people. What a revelation. How many murders? Estimates by the Mexican government, which was not notified about F&F, are 200 to 300 Mexicans.

Now, if members of Mexican drug cartels want to kill off each other, more power to them. Give them all the assault weapons they need so they can do a good job of it. Plenty of grenades too. Last man standing sort of thing.

But these thugs also like to murder the police, soldiers, and innocent Mexican civilians, thousands of them. Give them all the assault weapons they need so they can do a good job of it. Plenty of grenades too. Last man standing sort of thing. But these thugs also like to murder the police, soldiers, and innocent Mexican civilians, thousands of them. And our Eric Holder has testified the lost F&F assault weapons  will be used to kill more innocent people in the future. A nice thought.

If the plan was to track each weapon into the hands of specific drug gang members, and it had worked, then ATF and the Justice Department might know or could know, that a certain Mexican member of a certain drug cartel or gang, has an American weapon. Gee whiz.

There already are thousands of American weapons in the hands of Mexican bad guys. If the weapons were supposed to identify cartel leaders, that makes no sense whatsoever. Mexican and American law officials already know who the leaders are. If these were the reasons for F&F, it's no wonder some of the ATF agents thought the plan was absurd. Thus, the question still remains, why F&F?

It seems almost obvious the Obama administration wanted this plan to fail, wanted the weapons to be lost, wanted these 2000 bought-in-America assault weapons to kill people, to be found at bloody crime scenes in Mexico, wanted American weapons to be found in the hands of killers, the weapons identified by serial numbers.

Why? Could it be because this plan would assure the Mexican government would protest the increased flood of American weapons into Mexico, used to kill Mexican citizens, and demand actions to stop the flow of guns across the border? Then Obama would have reason to impose strict gun control in America, thus diminishing the 2nd Amendment to the Constitution. Obama and his gang do not want guns in the hands of citizens. And, of course, Comrade Obama has made it clear he has no use for our Constitution and its guarantees for Americans, including the right to bear arms.

The name, Brian Terry, should be known to every American. If a Republican administration were leading our country now, you can be sure the LM would make sure that name was well known to all of us. The above-mentioned Diane Sawyer and Brian Williams and all their LM colleagues would not let America forget about Brian Terry and what happened to him. And the Republican president would be blamed and blamed and blamed. But we have Obama, and consequently, few Americans know about Brian Terry.

On the night of December 15, 2010, a United States Border Patrol agent named Brian Terry was shot and killed by one of Attorney General Eric Holder's lost American assault weapons. He was more than just shot and killed. Brian Terry was murdered, plain and simple. Murder is murder.

And the innocent Mexicans who were killed by these lost weapons were murdered. Innocent human beings, all murdered. Murdered by assault weapons provided to drug cartel thugs by Eric Holder and Barack Obama.

Yes, a brave border patrol agent, Brian Terry, doing his job for our country, and hundreds of innocent Mexicans, were directly murdered by members of the drug cartels, but Holder and Obama are responsible, too.

They had to know innocent people would be murdered with the guns. But it didn't matter, or, at least, it didn't matter enough. Eric Holder and Barack Obama have the blood of Brian Terry and hundreds of innocent Mexicans on their hands. I know this, and the readers of this article know this, but the LM will do all they can to make sure the American people are not informed.

Eric Holder has turned over, or been forced to turn over, many Justice Department documents to the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, investigating F&F. However, Holder has refused to provide some 1,300 additional pages of documents the Committee subpoenaed eight months ago. Holder was told he could be cited for contempt of Congress. On Wednesday, the House Committee was scheduled for an afternoon meeting.

On Wednesday morning, knowing he would be cited in the afternoon meeting, Holder asked Obama to protect these documents by invoking Executive Privilege, and the request was quickly granted. As expected, the Committee, voting along party lines, cited Holder for contempt of Congress. In a few days, the entire House of Representatives undoubtedly will do the same.

And that's where F&F stands. What is in those 1,300 pages of documents that is so important to Holder and Obama, to conceal with Executive Privilege (EP)? Perhaps, who knew what and when. Perhaps, who dreamt up this absurdity.

EP has to do with protecting the discussions involving the President and others in the Executive Branch. It has been used many times legitimately. The Executive Branch has to have the freedom to engage in private discussions without interference.

However, there are restrictions. EP can be used for military, diplomatic, and sensitive national security matters. EP cannot be used to conceal wrongdoing, such as a cover-up.

Remember Watergate? Richard Nixon used EP to conceal matters involving a cover-up of a break-in. He didn't get away with it.

The Supreme Court said no, and made it clear that EP could not be used for wrongdoing. EP could not, in effect, be used as a cover-up of a cover-up. The infamous Watergate break-in was a bungled crime by a bunch of amateurs. Despite the best efforts of a frenzied media, no evidence was ever produced to show Nixon knew about the break-in prior to the crime.

With F&F, as with Watergate, EP is being used to cover up a cover-up. What are Holder and Obama hiding? If nothing, there would be no reason to use EP to hide the 1,300 pages of documents that have been subpoenaed by Congress.

Two major differences stand out between Watergate and F&F. The first and least important is the American media were against Nixon, and properly so since they were doing their job, finding the truth. However, regarding F&F, the majority of the media support Obama and Holder, and are not curious about finding the truth.

There is a second difference between Watergate and F&F which is far more serious than the fact that most of the media are nothing more than a propaganda wing of an administration led by a narcissist intent on destroying the greatest nation in history. Watergate involved a break-in, nothing more. Fast and Furious has to do with murder. That's right, folks, murder. That was the intent. Murder premediated. The people who planned F&F knew the lost guns would be used in killing Mexicans. These were not water guns. And hundreds of innocent Mexicans were shot and killed, murdered. And Brian Terry, an American, was murdered.

Watergate is a minor crime compared to what we have now, a cover-up of murder. But the LM will be accomplices in the cover-up, abetting murder, rather than doing their job, investigating and exposing the truth about Murdergate.

Even though Holder is clearly involved in this enormous crime, I don't think the legal action against him will go anywhere. Any legal action has to go through the Justice Department and they are not going to bring their boss to court. Congress will never get to see those documents. At the same time, it's important to keep this crime in the news and hold the Justice Department responsible for the murders. Good job on the article!

"Fast and Furious" is another dream job from the leftist lunatic asylum. It has "Holder" and "Obama" stamped all over it. These bunglers couldn't pull off a lemonade stand heist. The only problem is the families of at least 2 Americans, including Brian Terry, and hundreds of Mexicans weep in grief. Good stuff from you, man. Thanks.

You made some first rate points here. It is unbelievable how such a twisted plan at the top echelon of the government could be allowed to progress to wholesale murder.  I feel most readers would agree with you in condemning this weak-minded plot and the disaster that followed.

Today's news is depressing (Fast and Furious). Now millions of Americans will be killed in the Death Panels.. . So to cheer us up, can we get back to talking about how Eric Holder murdered a man in cold blood? He's going to be held in contempt of court for not disclosing information about an ongoing investigation that's protected by a confidentiality agreement..

Let's not forget that he solicited convicted terrorists to apply for pardons they never asked for and lobbied the President to grant them.
